App versus browser — what works best
Our native Android app stores game layouts and dealer feeds offline, so you can browse categories and check odds even if your mobile signal drops. Push notifications alert you when your withdrawal request is approved or when a match in Jakarta's Liga 1 fixture is about to start. App updates roll out automatically; you do not need to manually refresh to access new tables or markets.
The web app and iOS browser access are equally fast. They cache your game library and recent transactions, but you do not receive push notifications. Both routes load in seconds on modern 4G or WiFi. Choose the app if you want offline browsing and notifications; choose the browser if you prefer a lighter footprint or use multiple devices throughout the day.
Device compatibility
sett runs on Android 7.0 and later. If your phone is older, you can still access the web version in your default browser. On iOS, Safari supports our platform on iOS 12 and above. We do not require the latest device generation; mid-range and older phones work without lag or crashes.
Common installation issues
Android devices sometimes block installation from sources other than the Google Play Store. If you see a security warning, go to Settings → Apps → Install unknown apps and enable installation for your browser or file manager. This is a device-level permission, not a sett security issue. On iOS, Safari may warn about untrusted certificates — this is normal for web apps. Proceed by tapping "Visit" or "Continue" in the warning dialog.
Data, permissions, and account security
When you install our app, we request permission to send notifications and access your device storage for caching game layouts. We do not access your camera, microphone, or contacts. Your login credentials are never stored on your device; they are sent encrypted to our servers. When you deposit through GoPay or e-wallet, payment details are handled by those providers' secure gateways, not by sett. Two-factor authentication via your registered phone number adds an extra security layer. If you lose your device, your account remains protected — we verify your identity before processing any withdrawal requests.
